IFAO’s Compaction Action Day Thursday September 7th, at Shawridge Farms, Arthur

We are excited to support the Innovative Farmers Association of Ontario (IFAO)  by ensuring you are aware of this great field day event to highlight soil compaction and what you can do to avoid or reduce it. We feel that they have pulled together a really strong event and want to ensure people know about it and understand the value of participating.

IFAO’s Compaction Action Day Thursday September 7th, at Shawridge Farms, Arthur Ontario is worth your time to travel to. Get together some neighbours and come as a group. Be exposed to some really visual demonstrations of how compaction happens and can be addressed.

Compaction tends to be a “silent thief” of profit and environmental benefits from farmers. We know we have it but we try and ignore it since we don’t think we have solutions. This event is geared to help you understand compaction and see what practical decisions and equipment choices can do to help you manage its avoidance and/or severity.
